These descriptions best describe the father of a close friend of mine. His businessman father already have two businesses and those are restaurant and a bus station.
The restaurant earns well and so as the bus station and his father still planning to have a car business. His father wants to have a bigger company and the earnings from his reataurant and the bus station can’t provide the capital that he needs to start establishing a bigger company so he will start a car business. Each one of us has his greatest love. It might be our father, mother, brother, sister, riend or a special love. My greatest love is my grandmother. She was taken for granted by my other relatives but she was very special to me.
I will never forget the incident that happened to us. I was only ten then. I would have supper with her. Once, I was eating, she noticed I had no water to drink. She got the pitcher to get some water downstairs. I continued eating. Suddenly I heard something crack. Then a thud! Someone had tripped somewhere. I quickly rose to see what happened. I was so shocked to see my grandmother unconscious, her head bleeding. I called for help and then they rushed my grandmother to the hospital and I was left behind waiting for them.
When my folks came back, they said that she would be confined at the hospital for a week. She was still unconscious. After a week of confinement, my grandmother died. I cried and cried because I knew it was my fault. I did not realize that she was too old and weak to get water for me; besides, the stairway was dark.
And I found out that grandmother loved me so much. Although she’s already resting in peace, I love her until now.
Face matters. But it is not just the face, attitudes count the most. Fair enough we often get judged by what we do and through our relationship with other people.
In the game of life, each of us has a considerable number of character builders and destroyers. There will always be the consructive and destructive sides that are inevitable and inescapable. As we are unique in our own ways, we cannot agreeably say that this will please evryone around us.
Status, prestige, power, recognition and aptitude are some superficial features we use to critic a person. Either we love them or hate them, idolized or derogate their personalities.
We may need to look at ourselves and our surroundings.
